Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
1. Overview
FFsave ("we", "our", or "us") provides a free online tool for downloading publicly available Facebook videos. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- URLs you submit. When you paste a Facebook link, we send it to our server only to fetch the video metadata. Links are not stored after your request completes.
- Basic request logs. Our hosting provider may temporarily log IP addresses, user-agent strings, and timestamps for security and abuse prevention.
- No accounts. FFsave does not require registration and does not collect names, email addresses, or payment information.
3. Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage to remember your theme preference (light/dark). We do not set tracking cookies of our own. Third-party services (see below) may set their own cookies.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We display ads served by Google AdSense to keep FFsave free. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
5. Downloads
When you download a video, it is streamed through our server directly to your browser. The video content is not saved on our infrastructure.
6. Third-party links
FFsave is not affiliated with Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries. Videos remain the property of their original creators.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Because we do not maintain user accounts, requests are usually satisfied by clearing your browser storage.
8. Children
FFsave is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
